Owner E. J. Laycock is a former college instructor. He has also worked on Star Wars (SDI) laser development. He is an authority on antique motorcycle engines (Indian, HD, Henderson, Pope, etc.). A high performance aftermarket top end kit that he helped manufacture in the early 1980's. (Thunderheads) actually inspired the introduction of the famous Evo.
Previous customers include: US Navy Pacific Missile Test Center; Lawrence Livermore National Lab; Saeco Reloading; Leffler Tool & Die; and many others. Current manufacturing systems include: screw machines (single spindle); centerless, surface, and center type o.d. grinders; turning and milling (cnc and manual).
